1985 Toyota Celica GTS Convertible 5-speed manual in great condition.
In 1985, this is one of 4,248 produced, 2,532 were three-speed with overdrive automatics, and 1,716 were 5-speed manuals. Power is from a 2.4-liter 22R-E inline-four features electronic fuel injection and sends power to the rear wheels with a five-speed manual transmission.
The GT-S convertible was built by ASC in California, and this example is finished in super black over a gray cloth interior with body-color fender flares, black trim and mirrors, pop-up headlights (plus two spare motors), and power antenna.14? double-spoke alloy wheels are fitted with all brand new 235/60 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires.
GT-S models were factory equipped with an independent rear suspension and disc brakes at each corner. All new drilled rotors disc brakes and new two front calipers. The cabin features sport seats upholstered in gray cloth with patterned inserts and door panels. Interior amenities include power windows, locks, and mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control,
seatbelts for four, and a three-piece convertible top boot. An aftermarket Sony CD stereo with remote has been added in place of the factory unit, which is included in the sale.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts instrumentation including a 130-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a digital clock, and auxiliary gauges for battery, fuel level, temperature, and oil. The six-digit odometer shows 195k miles. This 22R-E engine is bulletproof. Gearbox shift smoothly. The engine and transmission are in great condition. It has been pampered. It is garage parked every day and night. I hardly drive it. I only drive it to circulate the fluids. There is no leak of any kind. Clean title! Following
