The Firedome 8 was introduced in 1952 just ahead of the De Soto brand's 25 th Anniversary.

The car featured one of the first incarnations of the now legendary Hemi engines - Chrysler's new Fire Power engine. Its 276 V8 produced 150hp and powered the Firedome to a top speed of 100mph. Its elegant yet racy coupe styling, coupled with this new

hemi powerhouse, helped pave the way for the American muscle cars of the 60s and 70s. This excellent 1952 De Soto Firedome 8 maintains its original innovative features including 3 speed fluid drive transmission, power steering and power braking.
